so... i was wondering how to make a good name for a game because... well... i'm having a hard time coming up with a name lol...

when I think in a name that seems cool, it looks like it's an obvious copy of another game's name...

So, do you have any tips on how to give a good name to a game?

Naming is the single most challenging aspect to any game, company, or avatar that I have ever experienced.

I probably over think it.

Try ChatGPT.

What's a good name for a computer game about alien cats taking over a city?
ChatGPT
How about "Cosmic Cat Conquest"? This name combines the theme of alien cats with their mission to take over a city in a playful and alliterative way. It suggests a fun and adventurous game where players can immerse themselves in a world of extraterrestrial felines and their quest for city domination.

The name of the game should have an exciting introduction, cool plot twists and an unexpected denouement.
— Who's your enemy?
— The whole world.
— Who's your friend?
— The cat.

Come up with something, search for it on steam and google, if it doesn't come up, you're golden, that's the sort of thing I do to avoid stepping on any toes with copyright.

Above already correctly mentioned about copyright. This is a very big problem. One of the workarounds is to name the game in a language other than English.

For translation you can use DeepL — it is much better than Google
— Who's your enemy?
— The whole world.
— Who's your friend?
— The cat.
