Hey everyone,

I followed StayAtHomeDev's water shader tutorial which is how I found this forum, I am like most a Software developer by day, aspiring game developer by night.

I am currently just trying to get good at building basic game features for strategy games for example:
  • Grid rendering
  • Pathfinding
  • StateMachines
  • Turn-Based
And all of it in my favorite language C# which has surprisingly been very use able in Godot.

I'll be around here asking or maybe even answering questions.
Thanks again StayAtHomeDev

Nice! That water shader needs updated haha

What kind of strategy game? RTS? Civ-like? Paradox?

In terms of the games, I'm thinking something like jagged alliance 2 so grand-strategy mixed with battle turn-based.

Water shader did set me down the right path though so I'm thankful for your efforts, and the explanations were very good!

Thanks again
